In this session, participants will begin with the end in mind and create unit lessons utilizing the Understanding by Design, UbD, process. Through collaboration, explore the three stage design process and analyze sample materials with teammates. Leave this session with the ability to begin creating highly effective and engaging activities for students while utilizing district assessments, proficiency scales, Kansas College and Career Ready Standards, and additional collaborative opportunities.
